Janet Lansbury's article "In The Toilet" is very enlightening and worth reading. Kids are ready when they're ready. Don't make the mistake of taking 'hints and tips'.

yes! everyone poops is great! I've had that book next to my toilet even before kids! I think my daughter is ready, only she only tells us after she's gone in her diaper, not when she needs to

"Everyone Poops" by Taro Gomi is hilarious. I highly recommend this for adults included.
