What Parents Should Know
Don't be fooled by the alphabet book format. For older children who love music this book will be a treat.

Families can talk about why they like music and what kinds of music they like.

Common Sense Media Review
This is a compendium of musical terms, styles, instruments, and personalities put together in the unusual form of an alphabet book. The oil and acrylic artwork is sophisticated, interesting, and beautiful, and the design of the book is stunning. The sophisticated artwork and format may be a bit difficult for younger children (those for whom alphabet books are normally written). The average child may find the focus on such a wide variety of musical information a bit daunting, but for the child who loves music, this is a must.

From the book:
"Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines and dates by which bills must be paid." --Frank Zappa
