From the Disney Family Editors: If your child has stars in her eyes, we urge you to stock her supply case with lots of sparkly glue. But does she really use that old shirt for painting? Does she use anything not on our list?
Third grade brings new projects, and, as the scissors get sharper, so does your child. Start the school year right with a backpack full of these crafty tools. Ready, set, supply!

What to bring:

  • No. 2 pencils
  • Large eraser
  • Writing paper or notebooks*
  • Folders with pockets
  • Ruler (displaying inches and centimeters)
  • Pointed scissors
  • Bottle of Elmer's Glue
  • Box of crayons
  • Colored pencils
  • Set of markers
  • Set of watercolor markers
  • Old shirt for painting
  • Gym shoes
  • Box of tissues
* There are many different types of notebooks and writing paper available; it may be wise to check with your child's school to see which kind they recommend.
