This week, we profile Kathy Hilton, whose family, according to a recent survey by WE: Women's Entertainment network, unseated the Kennedys as America's "Royal" Family.
MM: What is a Modern Mom?
KH: She is a good listener, balancing her life with work and keeping the lines of communication open with her children.
MM: What's your secret to balancing career and family?
KH: Having a great support system and spending quality time with my family.
MM: What do
you want to teach your children?
KH: Work hard, be kind and honest and most importantly to
appreciate life and stop and smell the roses.
MM: Favorite thing to do with your family?
KH: Cooking, skiing and traveling.
MM: What did your parents teach you about parenting?
KH: How to take care of children.
MM: What is your greatest achievement?
KH: Being married to a fabulous man for 25 years and being the mother of four beautiful children.
MM: Who is your role model?
KH: My mother.
MM: What do you do when you're feeling selfish?
KH: Mani / Pedi
MM: What product can't you live without?

MM: Tell us what you're up to now:
KH: I just finished "I Want to be a Hilton," and I'm back to motherhood while Rick and I mull through some other professional offers. All in all it's a wonderful time.
