10 Questions: Marlee Matlin

Marlee: My agenda. I can't live without my little purple book. I can do without my blow dryer and have frizzy hair; I can walk around without makeup and hope that no one recognizes me. I can even leave behind my favorite body scent (Jo Malone) but I can't do anything without my schedule book. With four kids, a husband and a dog, my life has to be scheduled so that I can take on whatever I get thrown at me. Otherwise, I might as well stay in bed! (Hey, that might not be a bad idea! Ha!)
Lolita: Tell us what you're up to now:
Marlee: I'm currently staring in "The L Word" and have several upcoming guest appearances on "My Name Is Earl" and "CSI: New York."
I'm also doing a lot of charity work. I'm working with The American Red Cross, to encourage people to donate blood year round. I'm also working with the Starkey Hearing Foundation to help sponsor missions to poorer countries and getting children fitted with hearing aids; this past Summer, we raised over 4 million dollars in one evening!
Marlee makes her home in the greater Los Angeles area. She and her husband, law enforcement officer Kevin Grandalski, welcomed their first child, Sarah, in 1996, their second child, Brandon, in 2000, their third child, Tyler, in July, 2002 and daughter, Isabelle, in December, 2003.
