well I guess we got pretty lucky in a unfortunate way we recently had twins (3 months ago) and they were 1 1/2 months early were in ICU for 2 weeks and have not had to much of a problem with their sleep habits we could not really hold them to much and when we got them home we were alittle scared to hold them to much "they need their sleep" the nurse told us we did sleep with them for about 2 weeks now they sleep in the crib just fine all through the night so far crossin my fingers... however our 9 yr. old is another story. Just stay to u and what u belive it will work out in the end...God Bless u and yours

My son Adrian is 7 months old now and when he was a new born he had always slept on me or my fiances chest. now that is getting older i try to make him sleep in his crib and he just gets so mad and up set he throws himself back and throws a fit. I don't know what to do I tried just putting him in his crib and letting him cry but then me and alex can't get any sleep. Then when i let him stay over at my parents house my mother lets him stay up with her all night then when i bring him home the next day he is so crouchy and tired i don't know what to do. I yelled at my mom for doing that and told her if she wants to stay up that's ok but he needs to get into a sleeping habit. Right now he gets up 3 and 4 times a night. I need some advice.

We have our 10 month old sleeping in bed with us, and he wakes up several times a night wanting a bottle, which he drinks about an ounce each time and then I have to put his pacifier back into his mouth. How do I get him out this routine of bottles and how do I get him into his crib? Everytime we have tried it, he gets so upset and crying so hard, he gets sick and I am changing clothes and bedding all night. HELP ME

This article has confirmed what I already knew, but tried to avoid. I know my second daughter has trouble falling asleep because I let her fall asleep while nursing. I need to start setting a better sleep routine soon.

When my daughter was 1 month old she was sleeping through the night. At Easter she was in the hospital for a week, now she is up at 1, 3 and 5 am. I am desperately trying to get her back to sleep all night, for her and me!

Great article. We're currently having problems wtih baby #2 and I know a lot of it has to do with bad habits we formed (first one was so easy, we didn't really have to sleep train) Baby #2 is almost 6 months now so it's tough but we're trying to break the habit now before he's a year and it's that much harder.

All the great music purchased to induce sleep was useful but Rod Stewart played loudly while dancing around with young David actually did the trick more frequently than did Mozart. Go figure....
