Video: Breastfeeding Battle

I generally liked the video, but the suggestion to "ask permission" to breastfeed in another's home, etc. strikes me as odd. What if they say no? "Oh, I guess I'll just leave because my child needs to eat and you have an issue."???

I agree with these other mothers. Usually the people who get offended by breast feeding ae those who have never experienced the beauty of it. I proudly fed my four children although when I had to do it in public I did cover up with ababy blanket. That way when people made comments I could ask them what they are actually seeing or if it is their imaginations offending them.

I have always been shocked that this is even a concern. Apparantly, it is ok to bare our breasts during half time or to sell more beer but feeding our children is obscene??? Yes, something is definetely obscene here...
Whenever I had to BF in public, I would try to be as respectful of all as possible. Besides, I don't want the whole world looking at my breasts, I just want to feed my son.
There were times that it crossed my mind that someone may ask me to stop or go somewhere else, but my father-in-law is an attorney...I kept thinking, if they want a fight, they will get a fight!
