7. Observe the speed limit. Each 5 mph you drive over 60 mph is like paying an additional 10 cents per gallon for gas.
8. Unplug appliances and electronics with big block plugs. Even in off modes, these devices extract up to 50 watts in an average household.
9. Never dump in a storm drain; remember that they lead to the ocean.
