Sofia was really excited to see Santa this year. I had showed her pictures of her with him from last year and she was beyond herself ... well the moment came and she screamed "what wrong with you!!!"

Tell Your Christmas Story

I still remember when I first saw this Santa ... I was walking after hours at the mall and everything was rather quiet. As I came down the escalator I saw Santa sitting there all by himself. This Santa was unlike any Santa .. his eyes sparkled .. he had a sweet smile..everything one as a kid thought Santa looked like. He wore a wreath on his head, a long ruby-red coat and on his belt he had a hook with tons of keys ...I swear I got this feeling that he was the real thing...my heart started to race and I got a chill all over my body. He looked up at me as I came down the escalator and he waved .. I swear I was going to start crying. I could not stop thinking about that moment and I hoped that one day I would be blessed and bring my child to see him. Well .. on January 23, 2006 ... after 5 years of IVF treatments my little miracle was born. The first time I took her she was not even a year old and it was very special but she didn't really get what was happening. Well this year she was really excited and could not wait to see Santa. I showed her pictures from last year and she was excited. She really has loved everything to do with Christmas ... the lights, the decorations, the music and Santa. I dressed her in the same dress from last year (yes .. she still fit in it). As breakfast ended I wanted to be the first to take a picture .. I got butterflies when I saw him again. Well the moment came and she was happy to see him from far .. but as soon as I placed her in his lap Sofia let out this scream and while she cried she yelled at me "NOOOOOOO ... WHAT WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!!!" Sofia is not even two and I guess with all the stress she managed to not even pronounce things correctly but say a whole phrase. Everyone busted out laughing and even Santa had trouble keeping a straight face while holding my panicked little girl. At least I know Santa will remember me and my little girl Sofia ... I only wish it would of been a better memory. I do hope next year Santa will be here so that we can do a re-make...
