Allison wore her "I LOVE SANTA" shirt to show Santa how she felt about him, but once she actually got to meet him she decided that maybe LOVE was too strong a word.

Tell Your Christmas Story

This was a very special Christmas for Allison and our family. Allison was diagnosed with biliary atresia, a rare liver disease, when she was 3 1/2 months old. Her first Christmas was spent at home with a feeding tube and the hope of a liver transplant. She received her transplant in February of this year, but had many complications along the way. Her journey has been very difficult. She spent many months in the hospital and that has put her behind developmentally both physically and mentally, but she has made so many gains in the last few months. This picture was taken at a special party for children with severe medical problems. The picture is special to us because it shows her full of life and spunk. Allison has a lot of fight in her. Santa will attest to that : )
