Tell Your Christmas Story
Last Christmas I had just finished decorating our Christmas tree when I looked up and saw our new kittens peeping out from the top of the tree at least 8 1/2 ft. high. My camera was nearby so I stood on my tiptoes and reached my arms as high as they would go and snapped this photo. When I looked at it on the computer I noticed the white cat ornament below them which had a sentimental meaning. We had a white cat named Al B that had passed away in September. Two weeks later a friend begged me to take two kittens that had been rescued after their mother was killed by a car. I wasn't quite ready to get another cat, much less two kittens, but I told her I would come and look at them. They were a brother and sister and that was what I always wanted. It was love at first sight but it took some getting used to to go from a cat to kittens. They broke decorations and hung on my ribbons but I was entertained to say the least. They made the Christmas card picture and I ended up sending out 700 of them. This year they are too big to climb so my tree is still intact. We miss Al B but this is a perfect case when something bad happens something good can come out of it.
