Tell Your Christmas Story

This year I bought my first house. So this Christmas I wanted to do something I have never done and that is put up lights and decorate the house like I have seen in previous years. I have lived in an apartment for over 25 years so this being my first home was thrilled. My son who was thrilled but scared of seeing what this would turn out to look like helped. He did such a great job on the roof lights as I being 5'2 would have never been able. He is 6ft tall plus the ladder -- he did a great job. We did the net lights and splurged on an 8ft snow man. I have to say it looks nice and we love it! I would have loved to pay someone professional to do it, but now looking at it - I have to say it was worth the time and effort my son and I put in because it was our work and we should be proud.
