Laicey and Jaiden were sitting by the fire waiting for Santa. Suddenly the sound of jingle bells filled the air. They turned with expectant eyes, but only Santa's boots were visible. Poor Santa!

Tell Your Christmas Story

With our family spread throughout the U.S., a yearly Christmas card is often as close as the family gets to being together. So, each year I try to send a cute, creative picture of the children to relatives near and far. This year we wondered what would happen if Santa had a few too many cookies before visiting our home. We played around with different expressions, but to me this photo is priceless. Jaiden stares in wide-eyed wonder with a mixture of surprise yet also with concern for Santa's well-being. Laicey, who is a little older, only finds amusement with poor Santa's predicament. We will cherish this special holiday memory forever.
