Tell Your Christmas Story

I showed this photo of Santa standing on my sister's fireplace to my niece and nephew Christmas morning and told them the elaborate story of how the paper wrapping on their presents had woken me up and how I'd grabbed my camera and gotten a photo of Santa. I startled Santa so badly he'd left behind his entire bag of toys (the bag was still present when they woke up).

I thought it was a great story, and my niece and nephew certainly were impressed with it. Unfortunately, they were so impressed that they made me repeat each and every detail to each person who came through the door the rest of the day--and we had a large family dinner!

Next time I catch Santa delivering presents, I'm thinking the story won't be quite as detailed.
