Tell Your Christmas Story

It's been a little more than a week after Christmas and my phone is just now beginning to slow down with calls about our holiday card. Friends commented by writing on their own card about how much they loved ours. One neighbor hid it from his wife until she finished sending their card out so she wouldn't change her mind to do something different. Sending out something, "different" has always been my thing. I really enjoy being creative and unique. This idea came to me a few months prior and I was determined to see it through. After searching for the outfits, including the pet attire, I was ready to share the idea with the family. Aside from a few complaints about the "scratchy scarves" and someone getting a little "too excited" in the studio and needing a few breaks during the shoot (the dog, not my husband), the picture taking process went smooth. The only bad part is now everyone on our holiday card list is expecting something even greater for next year's card, which leaves me just a tad bit nervous. I'll try to have it done by mid-spring. Now that would be PRICELESS.
