Brief Description:
My son, Jared, said "mom, I'd like to be a mailbox for Halloween". So, we decided to make the mailbox that is not seen much. Years ago they could be found in neighborhoods. Now a days, only at the local Post Office.
Materials:
One 18x18x18 size box
One can of blue spray paint
One roll of blue duct tape
One piece of poster board
One 1/2 thick foam, less than 1 yard
Black marker or use of printer
Piece of paper for "Collection Times"
Gorilla Glue
One can of blue spray paint

Time to Create:
Approximately 2 days (ensure glue/paint are dry)
Contest Photo Tips and Guidelines:
- Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your gingerbread house or holiday cookie is the star!
- Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
- Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
- With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
