Club Penguin Puffles

Contest Photo by: Forney.com
Pleasant Hill, CA
Category: Creative Creatures

Brief Description:

These Club Penguin Costumes were completely handmade. They were relatively inexpensive to make but time consuming, as I don't sew so often. They were a hit for the school "Gatorween" party and a hit trick or treating for anyone that knows about Puffles! They even kept the girls warm without the need for jackets!

Materials:

Blanket Felt
Batting
Liner Material (scraps I had saved from buying mattress pads)
Sewing Machine
Thread
Feather Boa's
Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Fabric Paint
Scissors

Time to Create:

3 evenings for both costumes
Contest Photo Tips and Guidelines:
  • Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your gingerbread house or holiday cookie is the star!
  • Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
  • Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
  • For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
  • With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
