This is going onto my bookmarks bar, definitely a handy list for tips on cleaning up for all types of occasions and situations. Stumbled upon this while looking for tips on office cleaning and contract cleaning for my office. Think I might get hands on after all instead! Great list!
Some great tips here! Though most of the time, we limit the major cleaning to once or twice a year, just before the big festivities. It's a tiring job but fulfilling at the same time. We often rope in the kids to help clean up their own bedrooms, so it becomes a family activity for all, and after that we all head out to dinner at our fav restaurant, which the kids all love and look forward to.
Get in the habit of de-cluttering your space, and tidying all that junk! We all have those documents, toys, and old photos just lying around - sometimes for a long time! Bringing order in to your space can put you back in charge. Peter Walsh is an Australian Cleaning Guru, a De-Clutter expert. He has guested on the Oprah Winfrey Show (and is featured on the website).

With 7 cats you might very well imagine the problems we encounter with pet odors! The tips you provide here are fantastic - I know from experience! I even learned some new tricks that have helped tremendously!
Cleaning your home in under 5 minutes per day is a marvlous yet almost impossible task if you live with a family of 5, as we do. Phew, I am not a gambler, however anyone who can have my home sparkling in under 5 minutes should contact me or my spouse. We could do with the help!
Thanks for the useful tips, and just in time too. We are getting ready for our big spring cleaning with the kids on their springtime school holiday! This will be a good starting point with them, and now that we can organize our plans based on your tips it will be even easier!
Now is a good time to clean all the corners. Look for holes that bugs or ants can access and plug them up. Clear caulk or fingernail polish works for me.
