What You Should Resolve in 2009

Q: The show starts after the new year when a lot of people are thinking about New Year's resolutions. Are you a resolution person?
A: Not really, because I know within a day or two, I'll break it. Maybe because my goals are too high, 'I'm going to exercise every day,' Well, it doesn't work that way.

Q: So if this show could help influence America's resolutions, what would you like to see happen?
A: I think acts of kindness are very important. If people were gentler and sweeter and kinder to everyone else, it would be a better world. And, take care of yourself. There's nothing the matter with putting on makeup, fluffing up your hair, and looking really great. It's all part of the package. I don't think you can sit there like a lump and think 'Oh, I'm going to go out and get my body in shape.' I think it all goes hand in hand: what you eat, how much you exercise, how good you are to people. You're the one who has to put your head on the pillow at night, and goes to sleep hopefully knowing you did something good.

Tiegs appears on True Beauty, which airs Mondays at 10 EST/PST on ABC.

I have always like Cheryl. Although my husband says that we spend too much time giving praise to superstars that are just doing what we do everyday. I don't attend flashy money raising parties, but I do take care of my kids and help children in my community, without the media glitz.
