I think these ideas were great, after all we do the .99 cent stuff everyday, sometimes you need to have that spa day and use something a bit more expensive and feel a bit more uplifted. Thanks!!

The article never called these products deals, just said they were under $20.09, which they all are. I think the point of each pick is to show women that they can feel luxurious with products that are admittedly a splurge but far from the kind of splurge a $300 handbag or expensive new outfit or shoes would be. I know many products out there are great and cheap (and look at how much stuff came from KMart and Target), but when I want to treat myself I do look to brands that are a little special. I've tried Lush, Benefit and Fekkai and can say they do the job far better than cheaper things I've purchased from Avon or drugstores. Also, the sponsor -- or advertiser -- on the story is Quaker Oats. I would guess the article's products are just picks the site liked.
