Little Fairy Princess Costume

Costume Materials
- 9 yards of tulle, your choice of colors
- elastic, child's waist size
- flowers
- embellishments
- ribbon
- hot glue gun (if adding embellishments or flowers)
- the wings and wand were bought separate
- Measure your child's waist and cut the elastic about and 1/2 inch smaller than childs waist. Either gluing or sewing the elastic to make a circle.
- For the tulle, they should be cut into 5" strips for the width. (you can buy it by the yard or on a roll, the roll will have the width done for you)
- For the length, measure the length that you want the dress to be (from the child's waist to the floor). Double the length and cut. Tie the pieces around the elastic. (I doubled the pieces of tulle in one strand to make it "poofy.") You will continue this all the way around the elastic.
- You can add any other embellishments with your hot glue gun. I used artificial flowers and small mirror/crystal embellishments to the dress.
