Glow in the Dark Skeleton Costume

Spooky skeleton that glows in the dark.

Prep Time: 2-3 hours

Costume Materials
  • 1 black sweatsuit
  • 2 large sheets foam poster board
  • pencil
  • fabric glue
  • utility knife
  • glow in the dark paint
  • black slippers
  • cardboard
Costume Instructions
  1. Looking at a picture of a skeleton, freehand bones onto foam board in pencil and cut out.
  2. Lay sweatsuit flat and insert cardboard to keep from gluing it to itself.
  3. Using fabric glue attach bones to sweatsuit and allow to dry.
  4. Glue foot bones to slippers.
  5. Paint each bone with 2 coats of glow in the dark paint.
  6. Allow to dry completely.
  7. To dress up the costume we purchased a glow in the dark mask, glow in the dark gloves, and a glow in the dark sickle.
