Dementor Costume

Costume Materials
- About 8 yards of black fabric (depending on size of your child)
- 2 yards of black sheer fabric
- Black thread
- Take two squares of fabric wider than the arms of the child and just a little longer than their shoulder to floor.
- And out of another piece of fabric rip 2" wide stripes that are the same length or a little longer.
- Then take a ½ circle of fabric big enough to shroud over the head and put a hem on the straight side. Leaving a neck hole in the top sew the stripes and top of shoulder together. Shirr up the round portion of the ½ circle to size of neck hole and sew together.
- Make sure the neck hole is big enough for the head to get through.
- Next set the costume on the person and mark area for the body and mark the arms and then sew a l shape on each side forming this.
- Then cut or rip from the bottom up to where you sewed the arms. and do this up to the body.
- Find a piece of sheer black fabric and drape over the head before putting on the costume and then you have a hard time seeing the face of the child and you are done.
