Captain Hook Costume
Prep Time: 3 hrs.
Costume Materials
- red fleece (remnant)
- gold braid
- 1 yard of black furry boa
- white lace
- remnant of material to make ascot
- aluminum foil for hook
- purchased parrot to sit on shoulder
- I used a little jacket to lay down as a pattern to design the robe - then sewed the gold braid around the edges with white lace on the cuffs.
- The ascot also was made to fit the baby with 3 rows of white lace sewn on it.
- The hat was off of a stuffed toy - I just cut and attached the furry boa to it -- put a round velcro sticky on the binky and cut a piece of boa to attach to that.
- The hook was just made of aluminum foil and wrapped around his wrist (which he didn't like very much!)
