My mother is dying at the moment. We have had over two years with her after being told that she had only 10 months to live, so we are thankful for that. Although it is a very stressful time, it also has given me a chance to share the love and support from people around me, for which I am very thankful.

Reading the comment about "Mom" being there for Thanksgiving hit home for me. My Mom won't be there for me this Thanksgiving, she passed away on Sept 1, 2009. I shall be ever grateful that we enjoyed each other for all our 71+ years together. She was 90 and a half and very proud of that half. Because of her love I will continue to have the "family" come home to roost at Thanksgiving for as long as they wish to continue doing so......Thanks, Mom. I love you!
