6. Go Ice Skating
Even if you celebrate Christmas surrounded by palm trees, you can usually find an ice rink nearby. Many local parks and malls set up seasonal ice rinks, and even indoor ice rinks feel festive and fun during the holiday season. Go as a family, or better yet, team up with another family; it's always good to have a few adults on hand to help with lacing skates, supporting those first-time skaters, and making hot cocoa runs.
