4. Give out Homemade Goodies
Letting the kids make and decorate different types of cookies or candies for a friend, neighbor or loved one is a fun and thoughtful activity. The process can start at the store, where kids can pick out their favorite muffin, brownie or cookie mix. Encourage the kids to decorate each treat with the recipient in mind. Help them write a nice note for each recipient and let them spearhead the wrapping and delivering.
