2. Deck the Mini Trees
Buy a small tree, potted tree, or plant for each of your kids. Set up family tree trimming time. Get popcorn, berries and string to make garland. Get construction paper, glitter, glue, markers, ribbon and a hole-punch and let them make their own ornaments. Purchase gold stars or angels for the top of the trees. Once the kids have decorated their own tree in their own room, have a tree show. Let each child take turns telling the entire family about their tree. After the holidays, plant the trees in your yard, school or out in the wild.
