Tell us your story:

In the Northwest, we cant let a little rain or even snow get in the way of enjoying the outdoors. Letterboxing is a free and fun way to roam the lush, damp woods on a treasure hunt. Check out www.letterboxing.org and plug in your zip code. Then follow the cool clues to find the hidden stamp pad and leave your own stamp in the journal. Our community promotes letterboxing by setting up a neighborhood hunt. Families get to know their local parks and join together in a victory celebration
Contest Photo Tips and Guidelines:
  • Avoid clutter. Keep the background simple -- your family is the star!
  • Daytime, natural light is best. If your area is bright enough, try taking the photo without the flash.
  • Upload a horizontal photo. If you crop the image on your computer, make sure you keep a landscape 4:3 aspect ratio.
  • For best results, make your image 1200x900 (or "save for web").
  • With a digital camera, you can take as many photos as possible and choose the best one. Have fun!
