My Love Story is:
It was a difficult change to come from Colombia with my dad and sister leaving my mom behind. We met great people who helped us through the years. I met my fiancé, Chris, in college. He has been there for me all the time. After college I went to live with Chris and his parents. They took me to Disney World for the first time. On the first day, Chris really wanted me to see the Wishes fireworks! Once they were over, we moved closer to Cinderellas castle to take pictures. Chris went down on one knee and proposed. I was so surprised; I said yes of course! We had planned on getting married in 2011, but sadly, my mom was recently diagnosed with cancer and shed be too weak to fly from Colombia. I want my mom to be in my wedding. I grew up without her and I have missed her. We changed our wedding to October 2012 so she has time for treatments and recovery. Our life as an engaged couple started in Disney World; a wedding there would be a great way to celebrate a new beginning as a family.
