Costume Materials
Cardboard, tape, paint(red and rest depends on how and what colors you want the detailing to be), pencil, paint markers(gold, yellow and black),3 pipe cleaners, 3 cardboard dog bones, glue, scissors or box cutter and box of treats to use as a sample

Costume Instructions
Form a cardboard box to fit your child. Paint box red. Decide where you want the face of the dog to go and draw a circle. Cut out circle. Next measure where your child's arms are and make a circle on either side. Cut them out. Draw the box details in pencil. Paint details with chosen colors. The sides of the boxes I chose to write puppy sayings I found in a scrapbooking store. Back of box, I tore the bottom corner out to make it look like a dog ripped it open. Then I added pipe cleaners wrapped around a pencil for a spring action. I glued a bone cut out of cardboard to each and then glues in box. I uses face paint to paint my daughters face to match the dog colors on the box.
