Costume Materials
2 cardboard cutouts of a christmas tree shape(one for the front and one for the back) you need to hold them up to the person wearing the costume to determine the size we measured from her neck to her knees, about 2-3 yards of green felt, a hot glue gun, ornaments, battery operated lights, headband, star cutout, string, brown pant, green shirt, 2 empty kleenex boxes, christmas wrapping paper

Costume Instructions
1. have person lie on cardboard and measure from neck to knees
2. draw christmas tree shape
3. cut out and trace again to do the second christmas tree
4. lay cutout on green felt and trace then cut out
5. glue the felt on to the tree cut out and repeat steps 4 and 5
for the second cutout
6. hot glue the ornaments to both cutouts in any arrangement that
you like
7. let dry overnight
8. dress in brown pants and green shirt
9. wrap the empty kleenex boxes in christmas paper and cut out
the bottom of each box, slip feet through slit in the top of
each box so you have presents over your feet
10. cut holes at shoulder height through both cardboard/felt
pieces and run string through so you can tie them and then drape the tree over you so it hangs on the front and the back of you and the string is the shoulder straps
11. wrap the battery operated lights around the tree and put the ends in the pockets of the pants
12. cut out paper yellow star and tape onto a headband and place on your head
13. happy trick or treating or merry trick or treaating
