I took an older white blouse and ripped it in stratigic places. I did the same with a pair of pantyhose. I used an older black skirt but did not rip it. I stuck fake birds all over my outfit, used feathers and fake blood. I put some in my hair with the heads of the birds missing to look like they had penetrated my scalp. The overall impression was that the birds were attacking me alive! I put fake blood on my legs with the blood dripping down and holes in the nylons where the injuries were. I glued loose feathers all over my skirt, blouse,legs and hair! I put fake blood on my bare face,neck and arm and had the blood drip down to give it realism. I took the stuffed fake birds and removed some of the heads and made one to look as if it was imbedded in my chest, I had them in various positions of attacking me. I made my hair very messy to help with the illusion of really being attacked by birds.

Costume Instructions

Prep Time: about 1 1/2 hours

Costume Materials
You will need a white blouse, shirt or? A black skirt. One pair of pantyhose. Fabric glue and hot glue. Bobby pins. Fake blood. About 7 to 8 fake birds some smaller, some larger. A small bag of feathers. Or if you have an old feather pillow then use those feathers.

Costume Instructions
I took the white blouse put it on and while looking in the mirror I would give a small cut and then finish with tearing on one arm sleeve. The rest of the shirt I would give small tears where I thought they looked the best.I then removed the blouse and started glueing the feathers on. For some of the bigger birds I used hot glue to assure stability. On a few birds I removed thier heads and one was glued into my shirt so that it appeared that it had gone into my body. I then put the shirt back on and dripped blood in places where the birds were and where they might have attacked me. I did the same thing with my skirt EXCEPT I did not rip it. I just glued feathers and birds and put blood on it. The nylons I had to do while they were on me and when I was going to go out in the costume. I ripped the nylons, added blood while I was standing so it would drip down and used fabric glue for a bird I put on the back of my leg and ankle and just a very few feathers. My hair I teased and then messed up and made part of my hair hang down on one side. I stuck 2 birds in my hair and fastened them with bobby pins that I hid in the mess of hair. One bird looked like it was ensnared in my hair and the other had the head removed to look like it entered my scalp. I put a few loose feathers in my hair and used a lot of hairspray to hold my hair in place. I then finished with the fake blood and began dripping in on my face, arm, hands and streaming down my neck especially where the birds were. I also added some blood in my hair to show I was really wounded
