Costume Instructions
We taped off the box and spray painted the design.
We spray painted separate sheets of paper to make the diamond shape on the inside and glued to the center.
We glued the ric rack trim and jewels to the box.
We cut the wood trim to size and used the same craft glue to attach. So it wouldn't slide, we used masking tape to secure while it dried. We used another piece of card board to make to the top lid. We secured it with yellow electrical tape.
We bent a piece of wire for the crank and secured it with nuts and washers.
The ball is a small plastic toy ball.
The collar and sleeves are made out of felt and the hat was purchased at a costume store.
It sounds complex, but other than being time consuming, we really had a great time putting it together and my 5 year old really got into it. We even taught her to sing Pop Goes the Weasel!
