Costume Instructions
Starting off with 3D Modelling programs on the computer, the Spartan model is uploaded and unfolded, and then printed out onto 110lb Cardstock paper (piece by piece, part by part). The parts are then cut out, measured, and folded in the appropriate areas. Then, the pieces are glued together to form each of the individual parts (thighs, calves, chest, waist, biceps, forearms, helmet). After, a coat of polyurethane resin (its toxic, use gloves and respirators) is applied to harden it slightly. Once the resin is dry, fiberglass cloth is applied along the inside, and another coat of resin is added. Then, after all is dry, spray paint it whichever color is desired. Add electrical tape and emblems wherever desired. Next, glue on velcro straps on the insides of the suit, and sew them onto the jumpsuit. Apply a see-through divider to make a visor for the helmet. Once thats done, put the pieces on, and you're ready for combat!
