"Poppy Halloween Costume"

Costume Instructions

Costume Materials
Lamp box purchased at a moving and packing store.
White butcher paper.
Red poster board.
Red bulletin board border.
Construction paper for popcorn label.
Red baseball hat.
Popped corn.
Elmer's Glue
Hot glue gun.

Costume Instructions
Cut out bottom of box for legs. Cut two armholes in sides of box. Tape top closed and cut out circle for head.

Cover sides and top of box in white butcher paper. Cut out circles for arms and heads.

Cut poster board in long strips and glue on sides of box leaving a strip of white paper between each red strip. Glue border along the top and bottom.

Make a "POPCORN" label out of construction paper and glue to front of box.

Pop popcorn and begin covering top of box hot gluing individual pieces of popcorn together. Continue adding popcorn until it reaches a heigth resembling a "full box of popcorn". Hot glue individual pieces around all sides of box.

Hot glue popcorn on top of hat.
