Costume Materials
Cardboard, broom stick, coat hangers, gloves, stuffing, white make-up, vampire blood, big flannel shirt, jeans.
Costume Instructions
We used the cardboard to make the shape of shoulders. The coat hangers shaped the arms. I stuffed the gloves and sewed them to the flannel shirt to look like hands. The broom stick went to the cardboard to hold the shirt up and the end of the handle went into the back of jeans. Taylor's head came out the middle buttons of the shirt and the shirt arms came around and rested under his head (I also tacked to the to shirt to hold in place. We used a round piece of cardboard kinda like a toilet paper holder but bigger to stick up out of the top of shirt to look like a neck. We used vampire blood around the top of this to look like head had been chopped off. We painted Taylor's face a chalky white color with some blood coming out of side of mouth. The object it to look like he is carrying his head in his hands. Neat effect! Won the costume contest at the party he went to.
