Yards of white fluffy fabric, white gloves, black felt, pillow stuffing, old scraf, 1/4 yard of orange fabric for nose, black, top hat added, some red and white berries on the side, and of course the corn cob pipe, 2 long sticks, light and skinney metal rods.Light weight padding. Black sheer fabric
Costume Instructions
First we built the frame of frosty into three parts my husband welded the "frosty balls" out of thin strips of metal. I used a light weight piece of padding all around it so that you could not see the wires through the fabric, then carefully made like a sleeve shaped cover to fit snuggly over the frame, and gathered the material to shape it nicely with white furry fabric, leaving 2 slit marks on the sides for her arms. (The middle ball actually sat on her shoulders, we put plenty of padding on the rods so that it was comfortable and not digging into her shoulders)The six holes for the mouth is black sheer fabric, this is where she seen out of! The nose was just a cone shaped orange fabric with pillow stuffing to make it stand out and hand sewn on the head. The Round Eyes and square buttons are just shapes filled with pillow stuffing also and hand sewn in place. the hat was attached with a glue gun to make sure he didn't lose his tophat, added the 2 sticks for the arms (secured them to a rod on the inside for extra support) added the scraf and bam-there was frosty. He came to life!
