"CORNY IN IOWA Costume"

Costume Materials
4 egg carton bottoms
1 green shirt
green pipecleaners
2 yards of green felt
headband
raffia
can of yellow spray paint
velrco

Costume Instructions
I took the bottms of eggs cartons and painted them yellow. I then velcroed them in place on the shirt. I cut the felt in half and then folded it to make a triangle and sort of seperated the tops to make the corn like look. I sewed the felt to the shirt to make the costume easier to put on and off. I used the pipecleaners to hold up the top of the corn "ears" so I could also bend and shape them correctly.

I took raffia for the silk and used a headband, wrapping the raffia aound it and using pipecleaners for support so it would stay up.
