"Band Aid Costume"

Costume Instructions

Costume Materials
2 pieces of Card board about 3 ft long x 15 inch wide (according to size of person wearing costume)
1 to 1 ½ yards light brown fabric
1 yard fleece fabric (white on one side)
Spray adhesive
Red craft paint
Elastics
Stapler
X-Acto knife
Note: adjust fabric sizes accordingly to fit size of cardboard

Costume Instructions
Measure cardboard to size that fits comfortable to person wearing
Using a round object, cut both pieces at both ends to form shape (I used a frying pan)
Cut brown fabric to fit completely around cut pieces
Cut and fold fleece fabric to form a pad (I folded in half and in half again) white side up
Apply pad to center of front of cardboard using spray adhesive
Spray half of back side with adhesive and apply one end of fabric
Turn over and add a few drops of red paint to the pad, smudge with spare piece of card board.
Apply adhesive to front one side of cardboard with adhesive and stretch fabric a crossed entire front allowing paint to bleed through fabric
Turn over and attach remaining fabric to the other half of the back side
Turn end edges over to back side and adhere with adhesive

Repeat for second piece of cardboard

Cut 2 strips of elastic and staple according to were the costume will rest on shoulders Cut 2 strips of elastic and staple according to were the costume will rest around waist
Mark & Cut a section out for face

Takes about two hours to make
Allow time for adhesive to try (over Night)
