Costume Instructions
To make the mask, we simply cut out the shape from black felt and attached stretchy cord to it to fit our head. We then used chalk to outline our eyes on the black felt so when it was cut out, we could each see properly.
For the t-shirt, we first drew the Incredibles symbol onto thick paper so we would have an outline to trace onto the felt. The best way to trace on felt is to use chalk so it can easily be wiped off. After all the shapes were cut out, we used wonder-under, which is an iron on adhesive, to attach all the pieces together and to the red t-shirt.
The belt was made out of orange felt that we each cut to fit our waist. We used velcro at the ends to make it into a real removable belt.
