"Nanny and Sweep Costume"

Nanny-Hat and silk flowers, blue skirt, black tights and shoes, white blouse, orange grossgrain ribbon, red fleece, black coat, tapestry purse, black umbrella.

Sweep - black coat and pants, red tights, brown shirt, brown scrap fabric, small broom, black hat, powder, black eye shadow

Costume Instructions
Go to resale shops! The majority of these clothes were from resale shops. The shoes for the nanny were from my daughter dance school "shoe swap".

Sew the orange ribbon on the white blouse. Glue the flowers on the hat. Cut the fleece into a scarf.

For the sweep, I cut an old pair of red tights for his scarf. Dust everything with powder, and his face with a little black eye shadow.
