"M&M Brothers Costume"

Costume Instructions

Costume Materials
Round m&m:
2 square 1 inch foam pieces
2 yards green fabric
8 x 10 piece of white felt

Peanut m&m:
1 square 1 inch foam piece
1 yard orange fabric
1 orange t-shirt; size small youth
8 x 10 piece of white felt

General:
Fabric glue for Ms
Colored thread

Costume Instructions
I used foam pieces that you would use to make a bench cushion - an inch thick, then cut the circle shape for the regular m&m and the peanut shape for the peanut m&m. For the green, I wrapped it in green fabric leaving the top and bottom open. Then I cut holes for the arms to go through the front. For the orange, I sewed an orange tshirt to the front of the orange fabric covered peanut and made arm and leg holes. Both boys are wearing white long sleeve shirts and white tights to complete the costume. The M's are cut out of felt and glued on with fabric glue
