We used an easy pattern to create big flowing capes, using fabric we found on sale. We rumaged through second hand stores for additional supplies and of course closets for a toy vacuum, mop and broom.

Winifred-Hair and makeup is the key. We used a crimper on my hair and pinned it up to create two seperate bumps on either side of my head. Then we spray painted it red. We drew eccentuated lips just at the very center of my natural lips. Heavy eye makeup, an old Black dress and a broom completed the outfit. Her cape color is Green. Mary-A plaid skirt with a peasant looking blouse, the colors red or black work best. Black or brown hair pinned up to the side with a plastic cup underneath to create a elongated bun look. Heavy makeup and a toy vacuum instead of a broom. Her cape is red. Sara-A purple cape. This costume was fun. We found an old pink lingerie type nighty at a second hand store with a lace up corset looking front. We cut the skirt part lengthwise to give a shredded appearance, then we added more strips of different shear colored fabric. She is a blonde more risque character so staight or curly hair left down works the best. A broom and fishnet tights put the finishing touches on this costume. Billy-A woman's frilly shirt from a secondhand store, perferably long sleeved with the pheasant blouse look. We shredded it with scissors and rolled it in dirt to make it look like he had been rotting six feet under for a while. We took an old pair of dockers and cut them off right below the knee, where we added elastic to make it look bunched and puffy. Long white socks and black dress shoes for the feet. We found a mullot wig and tied it in a pony tail. White face make up helped with the dead effect. black circles around the eyes and stripes on the mouth to make him look stitched. Bynx- quick and simple. Black sweats and a hat with cat eyes ears and mouth on it.
