"Flower Pot and Watering Can Costume"

Costume Materials
Flower Pot - Flower pot big enough to fit the child. Leggings or pants in same color to match pot. White long sleeved cotton shirt. Suspenders. Approximately 20 bunches of silk flowers. Butterfly, ladybug, dragonfly stickers. Headband. Half face mask. Miniature silk butterflies and bees. Floral green wire. Duct Tape. Key chain rings or something similar. Hot glue gun
Watering Can - Stainless Steel Trash Can, Copper pipe (or something similar in strength). Small thin piece of sheet metal. Pipe insulation. Sink strainer. Rivets. Gray sweats. Gray cap. Half face mask. Chrome duct tape. Butterfly, ladybug, dragonfly stickers. Miniature silk butterflies and bees. Hot glue gun.

Costume Instructions
Flower Pot - Cut out the bottom of the flower pot enough for child to move easily. Decorate flower pot with stickers of butterflies, lady bugs etc. Attach 5 or 6 bunches of silk flowers around the inside of the pot with duct tape. Strategically attach 4 rings (key rings or something similar) to the inside of the flower pot with duct tape. Rings should be placed where the suspenders can be easily attached to them. For the shirt - remove flowers from the stems. Cut the back of the silk flower so the backing is somewhat flat. Hot glue the flowers to the shirt randomly filling ever space possible on the shirt. The more flowers the better. For the headband - A cloth headband works best. Hot glue the flowers to it and you are finished. For the half face mask - Use any color and glue a flower or flowers to it with a few butterflies attached. Assembling the costume can be tricky. Suspenders must be worn under the flower shirt so suspenders are put on and then the shirt. The suspenders have to be attached to the 4 rings on the inside of the pot. FYI (Put leggings or pants on before putting on the pot). After putting on the flower pot and shirt then put on headband and mask. Now you have a flower pot.

Watering can - Cut out bottom of stainless steel wastebasket (big enough to fit child) Cut out arm holes for child. Attach a 1 to 1 1/2 inch strip of sheet metal to back of upside down trash can and bend appropriately to make the handle. Attach with rivets. Cover handle with chrome duct tape. Attach a piece of copper piping (or similar piping) to front of upside down trash can with rivets. Cover with pipe insulation and chrome duct tape. Attach sink strainer to end of pipe insulation with hot glue. Randomly place stickers to front of watering can. Place tape or something similar around arm holes for protection. Shoulder pads can be worn to protect shoulders as well. For costume assembly first put on gray sweats then put on can over head. Put on gray cap and Half mask that has been covered with chrome tape. Your watering can is complete.
