Costume Instructions
For Charile browns shirt we just cut a thick zig zag line out of self stick black felt and stuck it on a yellow t-shirt about a third of the way up from the bottom.

For Lucy make the dress according the the pattern instructions. Sew 4 black buttons on the front of the dress as shown in the photo. For the shoes, saddle shoes look the best. If you don't have any and don't want to fork over the money to buy them, get a pair of plain white canvas shoes and a black permanent marker and color the shoes to look like saddle shoes...Or a pair of white dress shoes works too.

Where we live it is really cold by the end of october so we added a black turtleneck under Charlie Browns t-shirt and white cable knit tights and a white sweater on Lucy. And don't forget the football to top off the costumes.
