Costume Instructions
I made a large bread shape and cut it out of both the cardboard and a large piece of paper. I crumbled up the paper and then spread it out and stapled it to the cardboard. I sprayed it lightly with spray paint and it came out like it was toasted. I spray painted the foam for the crust a dark brown and stapled it around each side of the cardboard slices. I used foams of different colors to represent the different things in the sandwich, such as the tomato, ham, cheese, and lettuce. For the pickle hat I used a piece foam with ridges already in it and spray painted it green. I attached it with some elastic and hot glued the dowel with celophane to the top for the toothpick hat. I attached string over the shoulders for them to wear it over their head.
