Our little indian's costume had a loin cloth with native markings, a matching head dress with feathers, and was completed with war paint.

Costume Instructions

Prep Time: A few Days

Costume Materials
Fabric for loin cloth and head piece.
Feathers.
Markers.
Elastic Bands.
Sewing Machine.

Costume Instructions
I actually used a diaper as a guide for the loin cloth, then added elastic to the waist. In addition I put a flap on the front and added some hieroglyphic-like markings to it with a marker. Then I cut the bottom into tassles. For the head piece I sewed fabric around the elastic band, and added feathers. To complete the look I added face paint.
