Costume Instructions
The wings were made from fleece and appliqued felt. I first used fabric glue to attach the colored pieces, but then zig-zagged around each piece to secure them. I sewed the wings as if they were a large pillow. Then made the wings stand up with several streched out wire hangers. I also added some pillow stuffing to the wings to make them puffy. The wings were worn with shoulder straps that I made with scrap fleece and elastic (similar to makeing a hair scrunchie)
The dress is fleece with orange Ribbon trim, however you could just use a plain black dress if you didn't want to sew one. The antena were made with a headband and black pipecleaners. After the pipecleaners were twisted together I twisted a pom pom on each end. I wrapped it tight, and didn't use any glue.
