Costume Instructions
Take a simple brown paper bag and cut out holes for arms and a v-neck cut for the neck. Now make a cut for the opening of the vest down the middle front of the bag. Take a white plastic garbage bag and cut a strip the length of the bottom of the vest and cut frindges about 1/2 wide. Glue to bottom of bag. Use construction paper to cut out simple triangles of any colors you wish...and glue around bottom of vest and down front opening. Here is where your imagination comes in...you can draw out t-pee's, canoes, snakes, bows and arrows, eagles etc. anything you wish and place around vest.

Measure out a strip of the left over brown paper bag to your chid's head. Make sure to leave about 1" - 2" to glue. Again cut out triangles of any colors and glue around top and bottom of strip. Draw then cut out 5-6 feathers and glue to strip (I found that if you cut along the edges of the feathers they look more realistic.). Finally measure strip to child's head then glue.
